# 14 - 2009
A one year anniversary.
One year of glorious breads.
One year of glorious Babes and Buddies!
Never would I have imagined how many yeastie fanatics there are in this world. I can’t find one on my street but through the internet I find I’m surrounded by so many who love making bread as much as I do!
Thank you all for baking with us.
Just look at all these super nutty breads . . .
Judy of Judy's Gross Eats

Within hours of our first post, Judy had this lovely loaf coming out of her oven. Judy has been a most faithful buddy.

I’m so happy to welcome Laura (who bakes professionally) from the wonderful blog Tiramisu. She was able to make the bread fit her schedule.

Zorra you positively make me swoon with these cute mini-loaves wrapped and tied up in all their delicious nuttiness!

Jamie’s got wonderful step by step how to photos. She really nailed it with “I found the bread not particularly lovely to look at – quite rustic – but the inside was beautiful with a dense, lovely crumb and a fragrant, nutty flavor.”
Teanna of Spork And Foon

Another first time buddy, Teanna now has another way to light up her boyfriend Jack’s eyes. She writes a fun read.
Marjoke of Company in my Kitchen

Marjoke had a grand learning experience with this bread - toasting nuts is an eye opener in taste - and whole grains are a challenge.
Natalia of Gatti Fili e Farina

A very regular buddy, Natalia’s slashing wins my heart. She’s as in love with this book of Carol Field’s as I am.
Marla of Bella Baita View

From an Italian mountain in Italy, Marla came out with a beautiful loaf and lots of different ways to handle this dough.
Elle of Feeding My Enthusiasms

Elle’s first time baking with us gave her bread a milk/egg wash and got some wonderful crust color, I’m going to do that next time.
Astrid of Paulchen's Food Blog

Astrid did her bread with spelt flour and shows us a wonderful year of baking with us!
Caitlin of Engineer Baker

Caitlin has been baking with us a lot and we’re so happy to have her with us for the anniversary bread. This was not always a big riser for some of us but taste seems to win the day.
Whitney of The Peaceful Kingdom

Whitney is a bread baker after my heart, machines are alright but hand kneading is really the best, I knead to feel the dough.
Nancy of The Dogs Eat the Crumbs

This was Nancy’s first time baking with us and it looks like she got beautiful crumb with this bread. I think she’s got a great title for her wonderful blog too.
Rita aka Soepkipje of Ipernity

I’ve resisted for years getting the Römertopf but Rita’s loaf has me shopping. Do take a look, this baker can bake beautiful loaves of bread.
Cinzia of Cindy Star

Cinzia baked with us even while on a family skiing trip in an unfamiliar kitchen! Delighted you enjoyed the bread and hope you’ll join us often.
Jude of Apple Pie, Patis and Pate

As Jude points out “Who knew that people actually took time to master a recipe, take photos, and share knowledge with like-minded folks?”
It has been an incredible experience to discover like minded yeast nuts (how appropriate for this bread) over this last year. It’s been a grand year of learning. Thank you each one for joining us and sharing your experiences.
I hope you’ll stay tuned. Sara has the next month’s bread . . .
